12 Oct

Halloween is just around the corner and if you plan on throwing a party, I have some great drink recipes for you!!! (Thank you to our 95.9 The Ranch listeners for submitting some of these this morning!)

Creamy Dreamy Jello Shots (from Ranch Listener)

Make your basic Jello Shot with Orange Jello (Everclear or Vodka)
Once they are chilled and ready to serve, top with Vodka-infused whipped cream. Now here is where you can get creative: on top of the whipped cream, you can sprinkle Pop Rocks OR a couple Candy Corn!

Candy Corn Cocktail (from Hostess Blog)

2 oz. SKYY Infusions Pineapple
1.5 oz. Orange Sherbet, softened
1 oz. Pineapple Juice
1 oz. Milk
1 oz. Simple Syrup

Combine SKYY Infusions Pineapple and pineapple juice in cocktail shaker with ice. Strain over fresh ice into a clear Collins glass. Combine softened orange sherbet and ice in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Strain, and pour over bar spoon to layer in the rocks glass. Then, combine simple syrup and milk in cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Layer milk mixture on top of sorbet mixture.

Swamp Sips (by: Martha Stewart)

The flavor of this potent brew is fruity with a hint of slime — er, lime. Its murkiness comes from a generous helping of green fruit juice blend, available at the grocery store in the health- or energy-drinks section; tequila and a dash of lime juice give it a delectable edge. For the fuzzy, mold-colored rims, we used file powder, a Creole seasoning, but green tea powder will work just as well.
