Everyone is talking about Charlie Sheen again. He was hospitalized early Tuesday morning after he was found intoxicated and naked in a room at New York City’s Plaza hotel. Reports say he was a bloody mess when cops found him in his trashed in the hotel room. A source says, “Charlie broke the massively expensive chandelier in the room. Glass was everywhere and he tried to sweep it under the bed. There was blood on the carpet, presumably from scrapes and cuts as he was trying to clean it up.” Charlie tells RADAR Online, “Oh my man, I’m fine. The story is totally overblown and overplayed as far as the reality of the scenario.”
One claim is that Sheen flew into a rage after noticing his wallet and cellphone were missing and accused the woman with him – 22-year-old adult film-star Capri Anderson -of stealing them. A source told Life & Style magazine that when police arrived on the scene, the woman was “fearing for her life and was naked. Charlie was incoherent but started screaming slurs at the cops. They recognized him immediately and gave him two options: they could take him to the hospital or take him down to the station. Charlie chose the hospital.”
Charlie’s manager, Mark Burg, tells People that the incident will not affect his acting obligations. “Charlie will be working this week doing a cameo role, playing himself, in a small movie as a favor to a friend and has every intention of going back to work on Two and a Half Men on Tuesday.”
There were rumors that Mel Gibson was going to make a comeback cameo in The Hangover 2 BUT the appearance was canceled at the last minute after people involved with the project objected – Sources claim star Zach Galifianakis was among the loudest critics of Mel’s casting. It now looks like Liam Neeson will show up in the movie. He told Variety, “I just got a call to do a one day shoot on Hangover as a tattooist in Thailand. That’s all I know about it.”
- Reports say Mel is furious over the situation. Mel’s rep said, “He doesn’t understand why Mike Tyson, a drug user who turned his life around, was given a chance while Mel was kicked to the curb. Everybody deserves a second chance.”

Entertainment Weekly reported that Oprah Winfrey, Meryl Streep and Sandra Bullock will star in a new project from Sex and the City creators.
